The Pine River Bridge operates between April 1st and December 1st with operating hours from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. The bridge will open on demand on the hour and half hour. The best way to notify the bridge tender that you desire an opening is by calling him on Channel 09. They will also open to the standard navigation practice of a long and short blast of your horn.  However, they sometimes cannot hear the horn because of traffic noise.
