November 6 State General Election

The last day to register to vote in the November 6, 2018 election is October 9, 2018. If you have moved since that date you are eligible to vote one more time at your previous polling location. Call your Clerk to confirm polling location or click the “Michigan Votes” icon below.

Absentee Voting:  The City Clerk’s Office will be open from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on the Saturday before each election, for absentee voting.  Absentee voters can request a ballot be mailed to them until 2:00 pm on this day. After that, absentee voters can obtain a ballot, to be voted at the City Clerk’s Office, until 4:00 pm on the Monday, before the election.

The polls are open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on Election Day.  If you are unsure of your precinct or voter registration status, use the Michigan.gov/vote link below or click here to view a precinct map. If you need additional information, please call the City Clerk’s Office at 329-7121.

Election Inspectors (to work at the polls) are needed for all elections.  If you are interested in serving in this capacity, please complete an application (Election Inspector Application) and return it to the City Clerk’s Office, 547 N. Carney Drive, St. Clair MI 48079.
