Yankee Road will be under construction between Pug Road and M-29 starting after Labor Day Weekend for approximately 42 days for reconstruction work. Single lane and/or shoulder closures in each direction of Yankee Road will be taking place during this work along with complete road closure.
Starting in September, date to be determined, Yankee Road will be closed for 21 consecutive days. Detour route will be posted along Pug Road, Blue River Drive and M-29.
Work for this project will include cold milling the existing asphalt, trenching and paving shoulders, 66” arch culvert replacement across Yankee Road, overlaying with new asphalt, new driveway approaches, ditching with culverts, aggregate shoulders, new pavement markings and site restoration.
Access will be maintained to all residential and commercial buildings. Local residents and emergency vehicles will have access to local properties throughout the entire project. Local residents are encouraged to plan for delays due to construction. We request your cooperation and patience.
