City of St. Clair

Senior Citizen Transportation Service

The City of St. Clair is proud to offer Senior Transportation for city residents who are 60 years and older. There is no fee.

Residents under 60, physically handicapped, will be charged a $2.50 fee each way.

The van runs from 10:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Call 810-329-7121 between 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. Please call the preceding day. Calls for rides cannot be taken 2 or 3 days in advance. Please leave your phone number and complete address. If you live on a numbered streets (i.e. Third) please designate if it is North or South. The van does not operate on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays.

The van runs in the CITY LIMITS only. The exceptions to this is Ascension River District Hospital. The City Limits are: the end of North Riverside to the north, Oak Street to the South and Cox road to the West.

There is no way to reach the driver for an additional ride or cancellation. The Driver will wait at each stop for a few minutes then leave.

As the driver cannot leave the van unattended, she/he cannot run errands.

Since there are numerous people waiting for a ride at the same time, the driver may be a few minutes late (or early) arriving at your home. She/he will pick up each person as soon as possible. Your understanding is appreciated.

All calls, reservations and other information are handled through the Call Service at 329-7121. Please do not call the driver at home.

City Hall and Senior meals at Pine Shores Golf Course are not connected. Neither the driver nor City Hall know when and if the meal is being served. It is up to the people riding the bus to know the meal schedule.
