Polls will be open on Election Day 7:00am-8:00pm: If you are line by 8:00pm you will be permitted to vote. If you need additional information, please call the City Clerk’s Office 810-329-7121.
Absentee Voting
By mail: Absentee voters can request a ballot be mailed to them up to 5:00pm the Friday before the election.
In the Clerk’s office: The City Clerk’s Office will be open 8:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. and at designated times on the Saturday and/or Sunday before each election. Saturday and Sunday hours vary per election. Please check the Secretary of State website for hours: www.michigan.gov/vote
Absentee Voting in the Clerk’s officeAbsentee voters request a ballot up to 4:00pm the Monday before the election. If you request the ballot the day before the election, you must vote the ballot in the Clerk’s office.

Election Inspectors (to work at the polls) are needed for all elections. If you are interested in serving in this capacity, please complete an application (Election Inspector Application) and return it to the City Clerk’s Office, 547 N. Carney Drive, St. Clair MI 48079.
