There is no election being held in the City of St. Clair November 7, 2023 due to no candidate races and no proposals for St. Clair registered voters to consider. The next election will be the Presidential Primary anticipated for Tuesday, February 27, 2024....
Per the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), M-29 will be open by the end of the day today, November 2nd. There will be some work left next week but the road closure at the railroad and the temporary signal at the north end of town will be removed by end of today.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close a section of M-29 at the railroad tracks south of the bridge and have single lane closures on M-29 from St. Clair Highway to Bree Road to complete concrete patches and replace the CSX Railroad crossing in the city of St. Clair.
